In our opinion one of the greatest sires ever.  He was the start of it all for us and our foundation herd sire.  We bought him from EGGS in 1998 when he was only 3 1/2 months old.  On his first showing he was Grand Champion Jr Buck and things never slowed.  He ended his show career as a National Champion Buck.  Not only was his show career noteworthy but he produced quality offspring as well.

As of 2008 he has sired seventeen (17) ennobled offspring and is one of the top five point earning bucks in the ABGA data base.  He is the grandsire of the top point earning buck, RRD Gauge; the sire of the #2 point earning buck, Ryals Top Brass; and the grandsire of the #3 point earning buck RRD  R 898  Cannon.

If this is not enough he is the grandsire of the #1 and sire of the #2 top point earning does in the ABGA; EGGStra Brassy and ASH Creek Bright Star.

Magnum was know for passing soundness of feet and legs, massive bone and lots of meat to his offspring.  Although he passed away in 2004 his legacy lives on in his offspring.  The mark he left on the boer goat industry will not soon be forgotten.  Our future plans are to AI breed and flush daughters of Big Cat back to Magnum.

Top Brass was one of the first sons of Magnum born at Rocking R.  We knew he would be special from the time he was born.  He was long, balanced, and carried massive bone.  These are all traits he passes to his offspring.

Top Brass is the #2 point earning buck in the ABGA, and he has sired thirteen (13) ennobled offspring.  He is the sire of the #1 point earning doe in the ABGA data base, EGGStraBrassy.  Top Brass offspring continue to excel in the show ring and breeding programs across the country.  One of his sons SGR Built Tough was the top '07-'08 show buck.  We are awaiting some of his AI flush kids that will be born in September and December.

RRD Brass Shot *Ennobled* (Top Brass son)

An own son of Magnum, Remington was a beautiful buck. He was eye appealing with a beautiful dark red head and cape. Remington was the  2001 ABGA Reserve Grand Champion Jr Buck and the 2001 International National Grand  Champion Jr Buck.  Remington has sired nine (9) ennobled offspring. He is probably most famous for being the sire of RRD Gauge P529*Ennobled*, the #1 point earning buck in the ABGA.

Remington was sold in our 2007 Dispersal Sale and now resides in Kentucky. Prior to his sale Bill would affectionately refer to him as "the old man".

What can I say about Gauge but..."the proof is in the pudding"...or in this case offspring.  Gauge is the #1 point earning buck in the ABGA.  As of 8/2008 he has accumulated  3611 ABGA points with only 45 of these coming from individual points.  If this were not enough, he has also sired fifteen (15) ennobled offspring.  Two of his most famous progeny are AABG/LOID Covergirl *Ennobled* and JRA1 Agnew's Collateral Damage * Ennobled*.

Gauge was sold in the 2007 Dispersal to John & Jackie Edwards (Texas) for $30,000.  He now lives out his days doing what he does best...producing great offspring at Erath General Genetic Service (EGGS).

Gunsmoke was the 2005 ABGA National Reserve Grand Champion Sr. Buck.  He is the sire of four (4) ennobled offspring.  His most well known offspring is RRD R898 Cannon *Ennobled*.  Like his sire Magnum he was loaded with muscle and carried lots of bone.

Gunsmoke died prior to our Dispersal Sale in 2007.  We still have a supply of semen on him that is available for purchase.

An own son of RRD  Remington *Ennobled*, Remfire has sired four (4) ennobled offspring.  He is the sire of one of the best does we ever raised, RRD R865* Ennobled*.  He is also the sire of CEO1 Owens T75 and the 2004 ABGA National Reserve Champion Buck, RRD Rapid Fire.  Remfire was sold in the 2007 Dispersal Sale to Queen Acres Boers and now lives in Crown City, Ohio.
